When I grow up

Today we had to do a montage about what we want to do when we are older it is called when I grow up. The hard part was understanding what a montages was because I had never heard that word In a long time. The easy part was finding some photos to go on it. We had made this on a google drawing. The thing I will do next next time we do this is to make sure I know what Im doing. Here is my montage D.L.O.

How to build a boat

I have been learning how to build a waka there are so many ways my favorite way is using plastic bottles. The hard part of making my boat was making sure I had the rite design and if I had all my materials.The easy part was building the boat but It was a struggle finding my equipment. The thing I will do next time we do this I will be organised the week before we do it. Anyway the boat I have design is made out of milk bottles, sticks and harakeke. Here is my design. 

Reading with Nga Rau Rito

Yesterday We had our library open and we had to dress up in our favorite book character I was twiddle dum my sister Kahukura was twiddle Dee. Anyway we had to do reading activities one of them was reading to the junior classes we had to read to Nga Rau Rito it was fun. The easy part was choosing a book that was cool for kids. The hard part was getting the kids attendance because they where so bored. Maybe next time I should ask what book they want me to read. What do you think. Here are photos

Red hot races

For the past week I have been reading a story called red hot races just like the design for good a had to do activity's one of the activity's I found hard was finding the meanings for to,too and two. How I solved it I wrote all of the words in sentences and I also asked my siblings. The easiest activity was probably the Exploring language because I what all the words meant. The words were variable, aerodynamic and streamline. I can push my self by doing a harder activity next time. The easy part was making sure that I had read the words probably and the hard part was Doing it with so much noise around me. Here is the book.

Designed for good

This week we have been doing activities for homework about a book called designed for good maybe you have read the story. In reading we have been learning about exploring language. The hard part was doing one activity a night because I am so busy doing chores and get home late. The easy part was understanding the questions of the activity. The thing I will do next time is just to do homework where I am to get it out of the way. Here is the book I read.

DLO awa

For the past two weeks we have been learning about the awa and how it was use back then my class and I had to came up with a question and we had to find the answer. We had to make a D.L.O so Ebony and I made one together. The hard part was finding out a question to ask. The easy part was making my D.L.O that is attractive. The thing I will do next time is to find out more information for my D.L.O. Take a look at our work.

Reading reflection

This week in reading we have been learning to generate and ask questions. The easy part is making a question with enough detail. The hard part was making sure they made sense and to make sure I am on the right thing. The thing I will do next time is to not talk over people.

Reflection for reading

This week we are still doing read for meaning and I'm doing much better. The hard part was others were reading over me. The easy part was working in buddy's to get our work finish earlier. The thing I will do next time I will wait for others to speak and then have my talk.

Today I read the fox and the grapes it is a great story it is about a fox that is trying to get some grapes. The easy part was reading it in my head a using my five scenes. For the past two weeks we have been learning about visualizing but now we know how to do that we have now moved on to predicting. Predicting means that you guess but a rhetorical guess.
