Movie making

 This week we have been planing our movies and writing our story boards for our school movies. Which will go into the Kaikohekohe film festival. We each have groups and I'm in a group with Mama and Ngarui. Our movie is about tik tik and no were not just going to do tik toks were going to do  movie about. We have almost completed our story board and we have wrote down the scenes we will do. The part I enjoyed was thinking on how to do the story board because I think it will be a great movie. The part I disliked was writing it because I really couldnt be bothered writing it. The easy part was knowing what to write and how we were going to do it. There was no hard part. Anyways here is our story board we made. We haven't finished

Tahiti

 This week I have been researching about a country for our kaupapa mahi. We have been looking at cultures around the world and we have to do multiple activities for it. One of them was to research about a different country and questions about them. The country I chose was Tahiti also known as french polynesians or tahitians. The part I enjoyed about this was looking at photos of tahitians because I love there culture. The part I disliked was researching different things because it was to confusing on what I was trying to find out. The easy part was putting my slide together and making it look cool. The hard part was making sure it was the right information and not fake. ( I did right it in my own words. ) Here is my research about Tahiti.

Weekly

This week we have been doing weekly 4 it used to be called weekly 3 but its changed because instead of doing three activity's we do four. We have been doing this last term and this term. The thing I enjoy about this mahi is prototec because its fun and I learn different things on it like square roots and decimals. The part I dislike is getting them wrong because I want to get them all right. The easy part is the easy questions because I get them. The hard part are the hard questions because I cant seem to understand them. The thing I will do is ask for my e-ako account so I can do that. Here is my weekly four from this week.

Lineage

The past two weeks we have been working on a lineage . A lineage is like your parents, grandparents and so on we did 3 generations up so my parents, grandparents and great grandparents. I asked my parents and my grandparents who my great grand parents were. The part I enjoyed was trying to say there names because they had pretty interesting and weird names. I did not dislike any parts of this mahi. The easy part about this mahi was making my format because I knew how I was going to set it out. The hard part was trying to spell there names because they were very hard. Here is my lineage from my generation to my great grandparents.

Vivid vocab

This week we have started to do some vivid vocab and the word we had to search about was the word equality because we are learning about cultures and things. The thing I enjoyed was researching about this word because the word equality sounds so cool. The part I disliked was writing my sentence with the word because it was frustrating trying to use that word in a sentence. The easy part was finding the word class for it because all I had to write was the definition of it on the internet and it would appear. The hard part was trying to make a sentence that made sense because it was so hard to use the word in a sentence. The thing I will do next time is try and make my sentence way better than it is now. My holiday

Welcome back to school people this is my first blog this term. On Monday we had to write about our holiday. My holiday was very boring what about your? Anyway here is my writing about my holiday.

I lay in my bed as I think about all the fun things my friends
could be doing. I miss the fun  I had at school.
All I was doing was watching netflix while showing
soggy weetbix down my throat. I get up and feel sick to
my head and I lay back down because I feel too useless
to do anything else. I finally got up and had some delicious
avocado toast. After that I noticed that the lounge was
disgusting so I decided to clean up a bit. I vacuumed a bit
and picked up the rubbish on the ground but it was all a
waist of time because my grandfather made another
huge mess. That happened for most of my holiday.

Mihi

Last week I recorded myself doing my extension mihi and it was pretty easy because I  already new how to say my mihi. If you didn't know a mihi is pretty much where your from and who your whanau is. The part I enjoyed about saying my mihi was the tauparapara I said because I enjoy saying that. The part I disliked was saying the part of my waka becuase its a tongue twister and I sometimes muck it up. The easy part was saying my whanau becuase I love my family and I always can remember them. There was no hard part besides that tongue twister and the thing I will do next time is just to take my time. Here is a link to m y recording of me saying my mihi and a photo of my mihi.
