Free writing /Electric eels

Today was the second day of our school holiday blogging and today I choose the free writing activity. The free writing activity is this.
  • Free writing is a chance for you to write about anything on your blog. It could be:
    • Your day
    • A made up story (narrative)
    • A Poem
    • A report on your favourite animal
    • What you want to be doing for the holidays

Remember to:
Use capitals in the right places (MINTS)
Write correct sentences
Use interesting and descriptive language
You could add a photo

The hard part was what writing genre I was gonna do because there were so many I wanted to do but I only did one and that was a report writing. The easy part was knowing what topic I would do because we had talked about tuna and sense I already new lots about short fins and long fins I decided to do electric eels. The thing I will do next time is try to do two because doing one took me 15min. Anyway here is my writing.

Electric eels

Electric eels has around 6000 kells now.Its scientific name is Electrophorus
electricus and did you know they have been around for thousand of years. 

Habitat
During the day eels hide under riverbanks and other things like logs and rocks
because in the daytime people fish. Eels are very hard to find when they are
hiding in there habitat`s.

Behavior
Eels are very shy to came out when there's a big ambush.
The mother eel is very scared like some other eels when their predators come.

Appearance
Eels have poor eyesight so they can't see properly and they are very slimy just like
creepy snakes.

Eels are mammals not just because there delicacy. 
They have warm blood inside of there body.
The most famous eel in uk is the moray eel's. Eel's blood is toxic.

  1. Well done Mahuta, some interesting facts in here. Remember when you are writing an information report you should start with a classification, what family do they belong to. Keep up the great work.
