Well done on completing Day 3 of the Summer Learning Journey. I look forward to reading more of your blog posts soon!
You written a good list that covers some of the positive and negative things about being a DoC ranger. I think I would enjoy being a ranger as well. Many of the DocC rangers get to work in our lush bush all throughout New Zealand. Some of them might also get the opportunity to work and live ( with their family) in the more remote areas of our country such as on the various islands they are working to get pest free!
There is a Kiwi Conservation Club website has heaps of ideas on what you can do to help our environment as well as having plenty of articles about the environment as well. If you were interested having a look here is the link : http://kcc.org.nz/activities/
I look forward to reading your fourth day off activities tomorrow!
