My name is Rachel and I am working with Dani, Georgia E and Georgia C on the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) prograame this year. It is great to see that you have been so active and have already posted so many activities for the SLJ. Good on you!
Today, I have the privilege of reading the blogs from students around New Zealand and posting comments. This is the fourth year that I have worked on the SLJ and I just love it! I love it because I have the chance to learn nrew things from students just like you!
In today's blog I learned a little bit more about the similarities and differences between the Venus Flytrap and the Welwitschia. I didn't realise that the Welwitschia has two legs that grow over time. That is really unusual for a plant. I wonder why it needs legs. What do you think? What are the legs for?
I hope that you will have a great day today with family and friends.
I'll look forward to reading more of your posts over the coming weeks!
