You are right, tourists want to see the beautiful landscapes of Machu Picchu, but then on the other hand they are damaging the landscape. The surrounding villages will be earning money from these tourists so It does help their economy (how money is made and used in certain regions) aswell! There are a lot of pros and cons for both perspectives, can you tell me some reasons why it would be a good idea to limit tourists visiting Machu Picchu?
Awesome work! Don't forget you can earn extra points by commenting on your fellow peers posts. These needs to be positive, thoughtful and helpful comments that are 3 sentences long.
Well done for completing the entire Summer Learning Journey. You have done an amazing job over the summer to be able complete all 60 activities. Which activity was your favourite? My favourite activity of yours was your letter about your visit to the Tundra.
Are you excited for school? I know that I am! I can’t wait to get back to school and so I can set up my classroom for the new school year! Do you think you will come back and participate next summer?
Kia ora again Mahuta,
