I hope you are enjoying your holidays, i have loved seeing you complete so many activities from the SLJ programme. Unfortunately, I have noticed that a few of your posts have included information that has been copied and pasted straight from internet websites such as Wikipedia and links that we have attached with the activities.
Although you can use the internet for inspiration and research for activities, we need you to then put the information into your own unique words, otherwise, it is plagiarism.. If we know that an SLJ post has plagiarised information, we cannot give any points to the student for that particular work.
In order to gain points for this activity, you need to reword the information you have found into your own words. If you need help with this please feel free to email me as I'm more than happy to guide you through the rewording process. You can check out the helpful video that Rachel has made, explaining what it means to put something into your own words. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qyLCEZvg44xjKC6BCERu1XVvfUQm1SBi
If you are okay to do this on your own, let me know through the comment section. I am really looking forward to reading it!
The Kaikohekohe commenting team have loved reading your SLJ blog posts, however, we want to ensure you are using all of your own words and not relying on the internet too much in a few of your activities. We would love to see you reword this activity and then comment below when you have so we can give you full points for the activity!
Please email me on kaikohekohecluster@gmail.com if you run into any issues or need some help.
