For the past weeks we have been working on a scene from the book see ya Simon and we had to animate it using scratch jr, I did a scene from the cross country event. Here is a scene I recreated in the book see ya Simon.
The scene is about when Alex Wilson lets go of Simon and he falls down the hill.
Refugee simulator
On Wednesday we did this game called refugee simulator. We had 8 minutes to pack 15 things in two suit cases and move out of the country because of war and conflict. We answered 3 questions about this activity: How we felt, What did you learn and what was the game about. I had lots of fun doing this game because I got to do it with others but I also felt sad/bad because people got through this in real life. I learnt that people go through this in real life and you have to make hard decisions in a very short amount of time.
