Shootout

This week we have been doing some procedure writing. Procedure writing is a type of writing, procedure writing is steps like the first step the second step and so on. Well our class had to chose a game we had played this term and I chose a game called shootout. The part that was fun about this was making a diagram to show how to play because I tried to make it look cool. The part I disliked was writing how to play because that took long to write because its hard to write but not hard to explain. The easy part was writing what materials you need and there was no hard part. The thing I will do next time is make a better diagram. Here is my procedure writing about the game shootout.

Athletics blog

Yesterday we had our school athletics and it was a blast I came 1st in hurdles, 3rd in sack race, 4th in shot put and discus and came 5th in long jump. I did not came anything in high jump because I do not like it and failed on my second try.  We were learning how to be a team player and to also have sportsmanship. The easy part was sack race because my bag was easy to jump in. Why because it was very small so I did not have to hold it up with my hands. The hard part was the long jump because some body jumped 3.04 meters and I only jumped 2.02 meters. The thing I will do next time is to try to be a team player more often. Here are some photos.

Fun run

Last week our school all went to the fun run at united Kawakawa rugby club. I was so nervous I had more goosebumps than I usually have when I'm nervous how every It was such a blast. I had came second in my race I was running with the 9 year old because I was nine at the begin of the year. What happen is we got called out our ages and we all had to line up we had to wait until Matau boden said go he said go and we ran off. How did we get there we had to catch the train there and back. Why did we go we had to go because it was a school activity. We always used to call it cross country but now it is called fun run because we do lots of fun obstacle courses like the cargo nets and going under noddles. The last thing I will tell you is that we also had color powder the colors where pink, blue, purple and green. Here are some photos.

swimming sports

Today I had swimming sports at the college in Kawakawa. We had to do freestyle,breaststroke and backstroke I was really nervous when i got there. When it was backstroke i came first and in the finals i came first to. After all of that we got a free swim and then got change. Finally we finish everything and  we got an ice-block from the shop. It was a fun day.

Games with Matau Bodene

Today I had Matua Bodene. I learnt how to use in a game team work, communicating, corporate, strategies and support. When I go back next week I will focus on not being so grumpy when we lose. But it was so much fun
