  1. Hello Mahuta,

You have finished all 60 activities, WOW! Congratulations! That is a truly spectacular achievement, I hope you are very proud of yourself. You are also the first student at Kawakawa to have finished! Thank you for the special mention, the SLJ team have loved being a part of this journey with you and the other students.

I hope you will spare some time in the remainder of your holiday to make some positive, thoughtful and helpful comments on other bloggers work. Each comment of 3+ sentences will earn you an extra 2 points which can help you towards winning a prize pack at the end of the programme. You can find blog posts from students all around New Zealand here: https://sites.google.com/a/manaiakalani.org/connected-learners-share/sljtwitterfeeds

We understand that this is a busy time so don't worry about having posted activities on different days, there was no set rules with posting and you have done a brilliant job to finish all 60 activities already :-)

I hope to see some awesome comments from you soon.
    Again, well done Mahuta!

    Nga mihi, Georgia.

  3. Kia Ora Mahuta,

My name is Rachel and I work with Georgia and Allie on the Summer Learning Journey programme. It is wonderful to see that you have completed all 60 activities for the SLJ this year. WOW! What an awesome accomplishment! I hope that you are really proud of what you have achieved. We are certainly proud of you!

I can see that Georgia has encouraged you to continue your learning by posting comments on the blogs of other students. It is a great way to earn more points and to provide support and encouragement for others who are still on the journey.

Hope to see you online throughout the next two weeks. Congratulations again on finishing up the SLJ!!

    All the best,
    Rachel :)

  4. Kia ora Mahuta!

Congratulations on completing the Summer Learning Journey! We are so proud of your accomplishment, you really have put in so much effort and passion into your blog posts.

I loved your activity ‘The Power of 10’, do you remember this? It was the activity where you picked 10 different animals or plants! I loved this one because you have used relevant facts on why you need to save these endangered species! I loved learning from you!

Well I hope this year brings you so much happiness and joy! We are really looking forward to having you back next summer. You will bring a whole years worth of knowledge and ability!

Wishing you and the Whanau the best.
    Georgia E
